ELIGIBILITY

To join the Work Australia program you must be eligible for an Australian working holidaymaker visa.

Australian Working Holidaymaker (WHM) visas are available only to the citizens of countries which have signed reciprocal working holiday agreements with the Australian Government. They currently include Britain, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway and Sweden. Citizens of the USA can obtain short term (4 month) working holiday visas under a pilot program that is operating while a reciprocal agreement is negotiated.
