ELIGIBILITY

For most Australian passport holders you will need to apply for a UK Working Holidaymaker Visa in order to participate on the Work Britain programs. Eligibility for the two year UK working holidaymaker visa are as follows:

You must:

• Be aged between 17 and 30 years inclusive (if you are already 30 years old you must apply before you turn 31)
• Be a Commonwealth citizen
• Hold an Australian passport valid for at least 6 months beyond date of departure from Britain (ie 30 months from date of entry)
• Have evidence to show proof of funds (IEP suggests AU$4000+ savings over your most recent 3 month banking history.)
• Have evidence of accommodation if arranged

If you have financial commitments (i.e. loans), criminal convictions, or current charges pending, you will need to provide further documentation to the British High Commission. It is your responsibility to satisfy the Entry Clearance Officer that you qualify under the immigration rules in the category for which you are applying.
