• Assistance in finding great long-term accommodation - Previous participant advice is to wait until you arrive in the UK to arrange long-term accommodation. Rental accommodation is plentiful and the BUNAC offices have housing listings. Geographical flexibility is a job hunting asset and you need to know your income and communting needs before signing leases. 'Flat-shares', house-shares and room-mates can be found trhough BUNAC's listings.

• Bank accounts/tax formalities - If you know anyone who has worked in the UK or Ireland then you’ve probably heard them whining about how hard it is to open up a bank account there (unless they were an IEP member, in which case they would have had no trouble!) IEP prides itself on taking the hassle out of these boring bits- so the first thing we’ll help you do on your arrival in the UK is help you open up a bank account. And in Ireland we provide you with all the advice and documents you need to make the process as simple as possible. So you can get a bank account and more importantly - start getting paid into that bank account - as soon as possible!
