Before you leave -

• Personal support and service through the IEP offices - Our staff have all worked and travelled overseas and know what it’s like to be in your shoes. We can offer advice on everything.
• Program Interview - This informal discussion is our chance to see what you’ve got planned and make sure you’re well informed about the program.  You get to speak one on one with an IEP representative who can answer all your questions (most of them have been on Work USA).  This benefit is exclusive to first time participants on Work USA!
• J-1 Visa Processing - IEP will help you complete your visa application and will then submit it to the US consulate on your behalf.
• Work USA Job Guide - Full of all the information you need to help you score your dream job including job listings, useful websites, sample letters and résumés!
• IEP Web Services – A ‘members-only’ section of our website that contains updated job-hunting tips, advice from past participants, travel information and upcoming events.
• Pre-departure Sessions - Held throughout the year, these cover all aspects of preparing for Work USA, and are a compulsory visa requirement. You'll meet others who are going your way and we'll ensure you are 100% clear on the conditions of your visa and the program. You'll also recieve advice about insurance and accommodation.
• Work USA Handbook - Full of useful information to help you plan your trip and to use while in the USA. 
• BUNAC’s Moneywise Guide to North America - An extensive guidebook for budget travel in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
• Ekit Card – A discount phonecard with $US5 (approx 45 min. talk-time) credit and voicemail.

• Social Security Application Service – Before you depart we will advise you on how to lodge your application so you be ready to work as soon as possible.
• Extensive Support from BUNAC, including a 24-hour emergency contact number for your use while in the USA.
