The northeastern part of the USA offers brilliant skiing and plenty of employment opportunities. Virtually all ski resorts in New England have substantial snowmaking capacity and the many gladed trails provide a memorable experience.

Snowboarding was born in Stratton,Vermont and most of the larger ski resorts have snow parks with half pipes for both skiers and boarders. General benefits include relatively low accommodation costs and great family atmospheres. Some of New England’s best skiing is in Vermont at Killington, Smuggler’s Notch, Mt Snow, Stratton and Stowe; and in New Hampshire’s White Mountains at Waterville Valley, Loon Mountain and the Mt Washington Valley. In Maine, Sugerloaf and Sunday River are excellent.
