CALIFORNIA - OREGON - WASHINGTON

California is much more than San Francisco and Los Angeles. The state offers a range of superb ski resorts around Lake Tahoe, including Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Heavenly. Further south lies Mammoth Mountain, which is one of the biggest resorts in the USA. Many previous IEP participants have found work at Mammoth. North of California lies Oregon with the resorts Mt Bachelor and Mt Hood; and Washington with Crystal Mountain and Mt Baker. This area receives an extremely large amount of snow with Mt Baker leading with an average of 17.5m of snow annually.
